What We Do

Fight back.

Intersectional Hub: Stop the Coup 2025! aims to serve as a centralized hub for aggregating and amplifying news, information, and intersectional voices about right-wing Project 2025 and the criminalization of gender, race, immigration, and more, in the US and Africa.

Strategy Focus: We want to help answer the burning question: what do we do to fight back? There isn’t one answer, but many – many strategies, field and movement lessons, tools, and analysis to support effective action on myriad battlefronts developed by frontline ally groups. We consolidate the best ideas and tools right here on our website (visit often!), and if you’re thinking “what can I do?”, just go here to find out. We also highlight the voices of leading journalists and progressive thinkers in our Newsroom.

Convening Community: We are actively reaching out to progressive activists and groups to help sound the alarm. We plan to interview legal and legislative experts, and movement strategists to dissect Project 2025’s plan and identify proactive steps that we can take now – today, before the November 2024 election -- and we’ll share this in our Newsletter (subscribe below).

Preparedness: We are focusing on tools and actions that communities can use to assess and prepare themselves to confront this threat both before and after the election.

Town Halls & Teach Ins: Project 2025 will hurt all Americans who believe in a Constitutional democracy and pluralism. We need to talk, urgently, with many Americans about Project 2025’s agenda and local community responses to its threat. Stop the Coup 2025 is convening webinars, Town Halls, and teach-ins, working with allies to foster intersectional conversation, community education, and mobilization.

Stay tuned.
